The Voynich Manuscript

The Voynich Manuscript is a book written in an unknown language that has defied all attempts of decipherment. It is named after the book dealer who owned it in 1912. It is filled with illustrations of plants and other such things. It’s believed to have originated from Northern Italy. The purpose, author, and meaning still remain a mystery though. It was carbon dated back to the early fifteenth century. Some theories about it are that it is a cipher, an invented language, a joke, or fiction. I don’t know which of these is more likely but I do know that The Voynich Manuscript is very interesting.
