Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart was a pilot born July 24, 1897. She disappeared over the Pacific Ocean on July 2, 1937, While attempting to become the first female pirate to circumnavigate the globe. She was the second person to fly solo and non-stop across the Atlantic, and the first woman to fly solo and non-stop across the United States. Her first instructor was Anita Snook who gave her lessons in Curtiss Jenny. She had A lot of accomplishments in her lifetime but sadly she disappeared. The most likely theory is that her plane ran out of fuel on her way to Howland island and crashed and then sank in the ocean.
